    Are YOU Rapture Ready?

    July 26, 2015

It is my intent to awaken and bring awareness to the Church and the Body of Christ as to the hour we’re living in – Jesus is about to return and we do not know the day or the hour when He will return.  However, IF you knew He was coming back on a certain day at a specific time, “What would you do different?”  The word return means: He’s coming back to receive those who have received Him as Lord and Savior and are ready to receive Him and be caught up in the clouds in the air (aka Rapture) with Him. Are YOU Rapture Ready?

Don’t be caught off guard as the foolish were when the shout was sounded, “BEHOLD (Take a look!), the bridegroom cometh . . . . “ however, when they took their lamps, they did NOT take any [extra] oil with them. They ALL knew that Jesus was going to come AGAIN, five of them were ready and prepared and five thought they still had enough time and didn’t need to fuel or get more oil until it was TOO LATE. According to the Word of God, the attitude of the foolish is a person that is sluggardly, thoughtless, bending downward, lacking strength, lacking zeal, tired and sleepy. Though they knew about His return they did NOT have enough oil to keep them awake and alert, not enough to sustain them while Jesus lingered. In their minds they thought they still had time, they thought what they had was sufficient! To compare the attitude of the foolish to our day and hour, it is liken unto those who believe that “it’s not all that serious going to Church Services on Wednesdays and Sundays! It’s not all that serious going to intercessory prayer! It’s not all that serious going evangelizing every Saturday! It’s not all that serious having a personal, intimate time with the Lord, Jesus understands my work schedule and the need to be with my family!  This is the attitude of the foolish during our time, do NOT be caught unprepared!

According to Matthew 25, the foolish didn’t have enough oil so they had to go and get more, while they were going away the Bridegroom came, those who were prepared went in with Him and the door was -- SHUT. Do NOT miss that opportunity because once the door SHUTS, it’s SHUT and you don’t want to be alive and remain in the earth during the time of Tribulation.  When the foolish returned, they said, “Lord, Lord open the door to us?”  But the Lord replied, I solemnly declare to you, I do not know you [I am not acquainted with you].  Watch therefore [give strict attention and be cautious and active], for you know neither the day nor the hour when the Son of Man will come.  The question in the first paragraph is to provoke a thought and stir the passion in each of you, IF YOU KNEW what day and specific time Jesus will come again, what would you do different and to bring that urgency to the forefront of your life -- NOW! Church, do NOT be like one of the foolish where the Lord will say unto you, I never knew you because you were caught unprepared.

Check your gauge, is it time to RE-FUEL?
