    Derailment

    May 7, 2017

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.” Heb 10:35

The Only thing and Only One who can unite us as the Church is the Word of Truth by the Holy Spirit of Truth and Jesus, the Author (Source) and Finisher (Perfector) of our Faith. Faith in the Word and the Author of the Word is absolutely necessary for every child of God. Knowledge alone is insufficient. Experiential Living Faith is the mandate for the righteous. Faith has movement. Faith involves movement. Faith is movement. God is always on the move and the Church should be as well. The Just shall live by faith. Faith is that upward movement towards the things of God being accomplished in the earth. Faith is mobility.

Stagnation is immobility. Stagnation is paralysis (complete or partial loss of function; a state of powerlessness or incapacity to act; loss of the ability to move.) Stagnation is inactivity. When stagnation occurs, a stench (an offensive foul odor) is released and contaminates the anointing that was meant for breakthrough, yoke demolition, and burden removal, leading some to think God’s way does not work for them. You must stick with it or suffer derailment.

A derailment is the result of distraction, not focusing on the task at hand. A minor distraction on the part of the train engineer could result in the train’s derailing and injury to passengers or cargo. If you lose focus by taking your eyes off of Jesus, you’ll give place to derailment and defection – a dereliction of duty. We must always keep our eyes on Jesus by way of constant reminder that we belong to Him and we live for Him. He is our example – the Firstborn among many Brethren.
