    Enjoy Your Life In Jesus

    April 19, 2015

“By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” (Rom. 5:2)

This is grace: that a Holy God would reconcile unholy people to Himself and then use them to reconcile others to Him as well. “And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation… (II Cor 5:18).” God is not contaminated by His reconciliation to us but we are born again and transformed by our union to Him. We are a new creation.

There is no other plan of salvation for the world other than what we have through Jesus Christ. This is not merely a “Christian Faith”; this is a “That ALL The World Might Be Saved Faith”. They were first called Christians at Antioch (see Acts 11:26) – prior to that they were called disciples or followers of Jesus. God the Father has settled all offenses at the cross of Jesus and now bids all men/women everywhere to come to Him through the Son. What we could not do ourselves, God did for us. In this grace we are set free.

Every sin, curse, and sickness is banished by the cross. Death is not the final answer! There is no more guilt or condemnation to the one who is in Jesus. The accuser is stripped of his armor and weapons. Seize your victory now! Seize your inheritance now! Enjoy the abundant life now!

When Jesus died (He gave up the Ghost) He not only conquered sin for us but He removed the law of sin out of the way. The way to what? The way to Father God! He had to take on our sin (there was no sin in Him) but also triumph over sin, death, and the devil – which was done at the cross. His resurrection validated/proved that He had done just that. “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it (Col. 2:14, 15).” Jesus made an absolute fool of the devil and all principalities and powers at the cross – for us! The cross was the Bait for satan.

We are so free and so loved as sons and daughters of Almighty El Shaddai and we did nothing to deserve it and everything to not deserve it – that’s grace. If you’re out in the ocean drowning and someone comes along and rescues you, you don’t jump back in the ocean again. You stay away from it. Likewise Jesus has saved us from the mess we were in, so don’t go back into it, appreciate the new life He has given us.

It’s time to catch up to the goodness of God instead of dwelling upon the disappointments of life. “Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance (Rom. 2:4)?”

In kindness He takes us firmly by the hand and leads us into a radical life-change.
