    Got Faith? Only Believe!

    Re-Defining the Church
When it comes to moving the hand of God in any situation, the Church only has one option, “Only Believe.” When it looks as though the enemy of our soul has the upper-hand, “Only Believe.” Whatever the circumstances are and no matter how long they’ve been that way, “Only Believe.” All things are possible to them that believe. The Church has the privilege and right to believe with unbridled faith. To believe is to have faith and to have faith is to act on what your faith is founded upon.

Your faith is founded upon a divine Yes and a divine Amen in Christ Jesus (see II Cor. 1:20). Jesus, the Word Incarnate, has made it all possible. He is the surety of our covenant with the Father (see         Heb. 7:22). Everything God does; past, present, and future, serves as a platform upon which we place and build our hope and trust in Him.

Every miracle and every teaching in the Word of God leads us to “Only Believe.” When the man pleaded with Jesus to heal his son he cried out, “Lord I believe, help my unbelief!” In other words, Lord I know You can do anything, but help me to believe You will heal my son. He’s been this way since he was a child. I’ve seen on many occasions the devil try to drown him in water and try to consume him in the fire. Help my unbelief. Our situations can build up a mountain of doubt, hopelessness, and despair, but God’s power and ability to change things still require us to “Only Believe.”

When Jairus, the ruler of the synagogue, came beseeching Jesus to come and heal his dying daughter, he was full of faith. He might have become a little anxious when the woman with the issue of blood drew Jesus’ attention towards her. That anxiety immediately sunk to a state of fear and grief as he heard the words of some from his house saying, “Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further.” But as soon as Jesus, heard the word that was spoken, He said, “Be not afraid, Only Believe.” Even at the point of death we are still to “Only Believe.”

As the Church we are to live by faith, walk by faith, have faith, do nothing apart from faith, overcome the world by faith, by love work faith, through faith be saved, please God by faith, be healed by faith, be made whole by faith, be strong in faith, be justified by faith, receive the measure of faith, receive the gift of faith, move mountains by faith, stand by faith, have the same spirit of faith, let our faith increase, examine whether we are in the faith, preach faith, receive the Spirit through faith, cultivate faith, use faith as a breastplate and a shield against the enemy, continue in faith, contend for the faith, do works of faith, hold the mystery of the faith, be nourished up in the words of faith, fight the good fight of faith, possess unfeigned faith, follow faith, faith follow us, be sound in faith, ask in faith, be rich in faith, pray in faith, add to our faith, build ourselves up on holy faith, keep the faith. This is the hallmark of the Church, “Only Believe.”
