    If Not Now, When?

    July 10, 2016

Where there is ignorance of God, crime runs wild; but what a wonderful thing it is for a nation to know and keep his laws.” Pro 29:18 TLB

You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it's an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.” - Rahm Emanuel (Mayor of Chicago, Ill, former White House Chief of Staff)

Translation, let things get so bad, so that you can implement your own agenda with minimal opposition. The quote above is from the mayor of Chicago, a city whose murders to date are a staggering 340, and climbing. While it is not the only state with high murder stats, it represents a pandemic that is sweeping this nation. The 2016 election process is the craziest we’ve seen in our time. Isis, Al-Qaida, Taliban, Boko Haram, and other terrorists’ organizations are unleashing vicious attacks around the world. Rogue leaders are oppressing the very people they should be helping. Civil unrest is reaching its boiling point. Something is about to blow. Something is about to happen. I say REVIVAL, what say ye?

If not now, when? The further this nation abandons our biblical heritage and roots, the worse we become as a society. Look at this verse from the B-I-B-L-E, “We never try to get anyone to believe that the Bible teaches what it doesn’t (II Cor 4:2 TLB).” The Word of God is written for our admonition, advantage, salvation and deliverance from evil. It is the revelation of God’s will for our lives. Do we honestly think we can continue to rebel and resist God’s authority without consequences?

All the nay-sayers and mockers of the Word of God will one day have to stand before God and give an account for their actions, deeds and unbelief. Even those who say they are the Lord’s will have to give account to Jesus. This is a fear that many don’t seem to be concerned about. As we live each and every day of our lives we need to take the words that God spoke to Abraham to heart, “I AM Almighty God, walk before Me, and be thou perfect (Gen 17:1).” As children of God we are to consciously live in His Presence daily. The eyes of the Lord are in every place beholding the evil and the good (Pro 15:3).

Keeping in heart and mind that He will NEVER leave us nor forsake us, it is to our advantage to serve Jesus. He didn’t come to condemn, He didn’t come to destroy, He came that we may LIVE!!! With the behavior of many, one might think that there is no God. Oh but quite the contraire, not only does He exist, He has revealed Himself in the Person of Jesus Christ! Cry out for REVIVAL. Cry out for HOLY VISITATION. Cry out for the GREATEST MOVE of God this Nation, the USA, has ever experienced in its history. We need it!!!

What fools the nations are to rage against the Lord! How strange that men should try to outwit God!” Ps 2:1 TLB
