    The Ultimate Hero

    March 13, 2016

“This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.” I Tim 1:15

The truth of the matter is, without Jesus everyone would perish. There’s a song that goes like this: “Without Him, I would be dying. Without Him, I’d surely fail. Without Jesus, I would be drifting, like a ship without a sail.” To the Believer these words are very precious. To those dead in trespasses and sins it’s just another Gospel song.

The chorus part of the song is this: “Jesus, Oh Jesus, do you know Him today? Please don’t turn Him away. Jesus, Oh Jesus, without Him how lost I would be.” These are precious, precious words and their values hold true today. Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our Faith. He’s the Captain of our salvation and the Shepherd and Bishop of our soul. Our lives as Believers are not in the hands of some careless, reckless, clueless loser. Our lives are in the Hands of God who created the Heavens and the Earth. He’s Master of the Universe and we do ourselves a great service to follow hard after Him.

He’s the Ultimate Hero in real life and real time. What He did 2000 years ago effects eternity past, present, and future. What’s His Name – JESUS. Without Him, how lost we would be. He’s the same to every generation; He’s the Rock of ALL Ages. Today if you rescue a cat from a tree you’re considered a hero. If you rescue a dog from freezing waters you’re considered a hero. Jesus died that everyone on this people planet might be saved – He’s the Ultimate Hero. Do you know Him today? Please don’t turn Him away.

“To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” II Cor 5:19
