    Transcendent Glory

    October 1, 2017

“…an everlasting weight of Glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent Glory and blessedness never to cease!]” II Cor 4:17b (AMP)

Superior, excellent, supreme, great, unequalled, unmatched, and divine are just a few words to describe transcendent. It means going beyond the limits of ordinary experience; far better or greater than what is usual. The usual is what was on Moses; the greater is what was and still is on Jesus.

Jesus prayed, “that they also may be one in Us” to the Father and He gave us the Glory and honor that was bestowed upon Him (see Jn 17:21-22 AMP). This is the benefit of the New Covenant that we have through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ. Not only are we saved, forgiven of sin, and possessors of eternal life, but we are one in the Father and Son! The Godhead IS IN US AND WE ARE IN THE Godhead. This is true essence based on the authority of God’s Holy Word.

The Glory is released to bring Glory to God. It is an everlasting Glory that does not wither nor fade away. We can abandon it, but it will not abandon us. It is a Glory to grow and mature in. Let it penetrate your whole spirit, and soul, and body. It is weighty, powerful, authoritative, and abundant.

Jesus said, “I have given to them the Glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one;  “I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united (Jn 17:22-23 AMP).” The Glory is for unity and revealed in unity. Greater Glory requires greater unity. The summation of unity is ONE. That’s perfect unity based on a common cause and goal.

Perfectly united with Jesus and the Father, the gates of hell cannot stop us, pain and suffering can’t separate us, sickness can’t hold us back, and sin has no dominion over us. We rise each day with a fresh perspective and insight on advancing God’s Kingdom by manifesting the Glory! The Glory is not something we turn on and off – it’s always ON!!! We simply look for ways to manifest the Glory!!!

You have crowned him with Glory and honor.” Ps 8:5
